Living Colour
The guys are back together!
The band had a reunion show December 21, 2000 at CBGBs in New York and played a string of dates on the West Coast in May 2001, where fans were treated to live versions of "Sacred Ground" and "Release The Pressure," as well as a very funky version of Hendrix's "Power of Soul".
More dates have been played in the U.S. and they are now ready to recapture Europe.
These days they are recording a new album!
During their seven-year hiatus from playing together, the members of Living Colour have kept busy with many projects, music-related and otherwise. The band is best known for its song "Cult of Personality," which was a smash on MTV and drove their album Vivid up to No. 6 on the Billboard album charts.

Living Colour, one of the most talented groups of the modern era.
With band members Vernon Reid, Corey Glover, Will Calhoun, Muzz Skillings and Doug Wimbish, they proceeded to break down racial barriers up until late 1993 when the group drifted towards seperate creative interests.
Being all African American males, they bravely entered a genre uncharted by their peers. Born in Brooklyn, New York, they rose to stardom at the local club scene.
They frequented CBGB's, a prominent NYC rock club throughout the 1980's and early '90's. Praised by Rolling Stones front man Mick Jaggar, they landed a record deal with Epic. They expressed their political, racial and social views without negativity or animosity towards others, yet maintained an aggressive musical tone.
Living Colour stood for pride, unity and musical greatness.
