Labeled "KARIZMA", that legendary fusiongroup, founded by David Garfield on the US- westcoast in the mid-70´s, whose records and performances alike have reached cultstatus.
You´ve literally heard these musicians on hundreds of records. Be it Vinnie Colaiuta, that toured and recorded with the likes of Frank Zappa, Joni Mitchell, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Allan Holdsworth, Madonna, Michael Jackson, B.B. King, Ray Charles, Billy Joel, George Benson, Duran Duran, Sting, Elton John, Steely Dan, Celine Dion, be it Michael Landau, whose inspired playing graces the recordings of Pink Floyd, Richard Marx, Celine Dion, Seal, B.B. King, Mariah Carey, Cher, Chicago, Glenn Frey, Julio & Enrique Iglesias, Al Jarreau, Ricky Martin, Joni Mitchell, Randy Newman, Rod Stewart, James Taylor, Eros Ramazotti or Neil Stubenhaus, current bassplayer in Barbra Streisands group that worked with icons like Frank Sinatra, Natalie Cole, Glenn Frey, Barry Gibb, Boz Scaggs, The Temptations, Manhattan Transfer, Rickie Lee Jones, Whitney Houston and over one hundred movie scores; these cats are the best the music world has to offer.
KARIZMA is being held together by legendary David Garfield, in whose career the question »what hasn´t he done??« arises easily. From movies ("Annie", "Always") via TV ("Fame") and commercials (Coca Cola, McDonald´s, Seven Up)to his producer and musician contribution for the likes of Cher, Boz Scaggs, Larry Carlton, Spinal Tap, Oleta Adams, Luther Vandross, The Manhattan Transfer and his position as George Bensons longtime bandleader, Garfield saw every facet of the musicbusiness and is them mastermind behind the legendary KARIZMA. Garfield was also founding member of the legendary »Los Lobotomies« with Steve Lukather, Simon Philipps und John Peña.
